Wet your hands with clean running water (warm or cold), then apply a small amount of soap. Lather your hands with soap by rubbing them together. Lather the soap on the back of your hands, between your fingers, and under your fingernails. Rub your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds. Rinse your hands well under running water.
